We mourn with our Schools affected by gun violence.

Our thoughts are with the victims and families of Annunciation School, Evergreen High School, Utah Valley University, and the family of Charlie Kirk. It is far too often that this country has to grievously mourn from these senseless acts of violence. Words cannot express the deep sorrow of grieving families  and the anger we feel at Student Lives Matter. Our children lives are precious and whether the students are our biological kids or not, they are still our kids, and their lives matter. We must unite as a nation to take action and demand change, and do all we can to end these atrocities. Our kids deserve better, they deserve safety, they deserve the right to be educated in peace, and return home with a graduation certificate- not a death certificate. The time to act is NOW! Join the movement to protect our students and faculty.
Together we can make a difference, together we can save lives.

Bringing Education and gun Prevention to School Shootings through Partnerships

Rico's curriculum

Our hearts are heavy as lives are devastated by senseless violence. We cannot remain silent while our children and teachers fall victim to heartless perpetrators. Our founder understands the fear and panic of such terror, having personally faced an active shooter incident at his son's school. Inspired by the question, "If not me, then who and if not now then when?" Rico urges you to join our mission to save lives through preventative education, empowerment. and partnership.

About Student Lives Matter

The slogan "Student Lives Matter" has emerged on social media and within society as a response to various issues affecting students, particularly concerning school safety, mental health, educational equity, and systemic injustices within educational institutions. Here are some key reasons why this slogan has gained traction:

  1. School Safety: In light of increasing incidents of violence in schools, including shootings, students are advocating for their right to a safe learning environment. The slogan emphasizes that the lives and well-being of students should be prioritized.

  2. Mental Health Awareness: There has been growing concern about mental health issues among students, exacerbated by the pressures of academic performance, social media, bullying, peer pressure and the rise of school shootings. The slogan highlights the need for better mental health resources and support systems in schools.

  3. Educational Inequality: The slogan is also a call to address disparities in education, including access to resources, funding, and opportunities based on socioeconomic status, race, or geographic location. It seeks to raise awareness about the systemic inequalities that affect students’ lives.

  4. Activism and Advocacy: Inspired by movements like Black Lives Matter, students are using this slogan to promote activism and encourage dialogue about the issues they face. It serves as a rallying cry for students and faculty to advocate for their rights and the importance of their voices in societal discussions.

Overall,  "Student Lives Matter" encapsulates a range of concerns that students feel are critical to their well-being and future, fostering a sense of community and collective action on social media platforms and within the community.
